Wodonga World Cup and Victorian Shows Update

We have had a busy few months since returning home from the Queensland run with shows and getting the indoor up and running.

We had a very successful show on the weekend with Volador, expertly ridden by Scottie Barclay, winning the coveted Future Stars class at the Wodonga World Cup Show.  Lamaz and Alondra jumped great Thursday to place 3rd and 5th respectively in the 1.40m A2 and Dom Stevens rode two great rounds on Isle of Hinchenbrook to place 6th in the Young Rider Championship.  On Friday Celso jumped great to place 6th in the under 20 points 1.15m.  Lamaz and Alondra again jumped very well in the Len and Betty McVean Memorial Grand Prix.  Alondra finished on 4 faults in the first round and Lamaz jumped clear and 4 to finish 6th.  Congratulations to Billy Raymont riding Tim and Michelle Clark’s very promising Anton for a great win.

Greta Hinchen and her newly acquired “I Reckon” jumped very well in the junior championship qualifying for the jump off.  She also jumped a great clear first round on Queen of Hearts NZPH and had a very fast time in the jump off however an unfortunate 4 faults at the first fence kept her just out of the placings.

Dave Cameron rode two great rounds coming off an exciting win in the Australia Senior Championship to claim victory in the Kevin Bourke Memorial World Cup Qualifier.

We are looking forward to Shepparton WC Show this weekend before having a quiet weekend prior to heading to Sale for their Grand Prix Show.
